The NHS Learning Support Fund (LSF) provides up to £5,000 per year to help cover the cost of pre-registration healthcare courses, including Access to HE Diplomas in Nursing and Midwifery. If you're planning to study nursing or midwifery at university, this funding could cover your entire course fee. We help eligible students through the application process. Functional Skills courses typically take 3–6 months. Professional qualifications (Level 3 and Level 5) take 6–12 months. Access to Higher Education Diplomas take around 12 months. You study at your own pace, so it may be faster or slower depending on your schedule.
