Qualvera is an online distance learning platform registered in England and Wales. We provide accredited courses in nursing, teaching, health and care, functional skills, and GCSEs. These terms govern your use of our website and services.
By creating an account or subscribing to a course, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us.
2. Subscriptions & Pricing
Qualvera operates on a subscription model. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and include all course materials, instant study support, human tutor marking, assessment fees, and your accredited certificate.
2.1 Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan. Payments are processed securely via our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
2.2 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our prices. Any changes will not affect your current billing period. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase.
2.3 Pausing Your Subscription
You may pause your subscription for up to 3 months. During this time, your progress is saved but you will not have access to course materials or tutoring. No payments are taken while paused.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees.
3.1 Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your first payment. During this period, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
3.2 After the Cooling-Off Period
After 14 days, cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Monthly subscribers will retain access until the end of that month. Annual subscribers will retain access until the end of their year.
3.3 Refund Requests
If you believe you are entitled to a refund outside the cooling-off period, please contact us at support@qualvera.co.uk. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis.
4. Course Content & Accreditation
All courses are developed in partnership with nationally recognised awarding bodies. Qualifications awarded upon successful completion are accredited and recognised by UK employers and universities.
Course content may be updated periodically to reflect changes in curricula, regulations, or best practice. We will notify you of significant changes that affect your current course.
5. Study Assistant & Technology
Qualvera uses intelligent technology to provide study support. Our study assistant helps with learning but does not replace human assessment. All coursework is marked by qualified human tutors.
The AI tutor provides general educational support and is not a substitute for professional advice. We are transparent about how AI is used — see our AI Policy for full details.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We collect only the data necessary to provide our services. We never sell your personal data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
6.1 Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@qualvera.co.uk.
7. Complaints Procedure
We aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service:
- Contact us at support@qualvera.co.uk with details of your complaint.
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days.
- We will provide a full response within 10 working days.
- If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to our senior team for review.
8. Safeguarding
Qualvera is committed to safeguarding all learners. We have robust safeguarding policies in place, including procedures for reporting concerns about abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
